Pre-Camp - Tuesday, August 8th - Wednesday, August, 9th from 9-1PM

Band Camp - Monday, August 14th - Friday, August 18th; August 21st - 25th

8AM - Forms and fees collected
8:30AM - Welcome and Introductions
8:45AM - First Music Rehearsal (Band room - Winds/Percussion; Guard - Auditorium)
10:45AM - Break
11AM - Music Rehearsal (Winds - Chorus Room - 1st Segment; Percussion - Bandroom; Guard - Auditorium)
12PM - Lunch
1PM - Music Sectionals (Woodwinds - Auditorium Lobby; Brass - Chorus Room; Perc - Band room; Guard - Auditorium)
2PM - Full Music Rehearsal - 1st Segment - Band Room (All Winds and Percussion)
3PM - Games/Icebreakers
3:30PM - Visual/Marching (All members - Location TBD)
5PM - Dismissal

Breaks, games and snacks will be throughout the day. 

Social activities will be provided each week for students to relax and have fun. Details TBD. 

Pre-Camp & Band Camp Checklist/What-to-bring

  • Instrument (School instruments provided for percussion, sousaphones/tuba, baritone, mellophone/french horn)
  • Music
  • Lunch (Seniors/juniors wishing to leave campus for lunch need signed permission from parent/guardian)
  • Tennis shoes and socks
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Water bottle
  • Light-colored, loose-fit clothing (Must conform to HCPS dress code)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work hard and have fun!
