8th graders zoned to J.R. Tucker High School or interested in IB, ACA, or Spanish Specialty Centers welcome.

Check in at 4:15pm in the car loop. Tucker band students will be waiting to greet you.

After a pizza dinner, you’ll learn marching basics, rehearse stand tunes, then head to the stadium to play in the stands with the band. 

Enjoy watching the 2024 Marching Tigers Halftime Show One Day I’ll Fly Away. 

Students should bring money for concessions during the 3rd quarter if they wish.

After the game, approximately 9:45pm, meet your ride outside the band room.

Music will be provided in advance, but does not need to be memorized.

Families are welcome and can purchase game tickets at the gate for $10. This is a great opportunity to meet current band parents and ask questions about our music programs, specialty centers, and life at Tucker. Game Kickoff is 7:00pm.
