Hello Tiger Family!
Welcome to the 2021– 2022 School Year. The Boosters organization is comprised of dedicated & energetic volunteers with the common focus of supporting our program, director, and students. We encourage all parents to play an active part in our organization; there is something for everyone and every schedule.
In addition to volunteering for our events at Tucker and offsite, there are many committees that support our musicians throughout the year.
The Concert Attire & Marching Uniform Committee organizes volunteers for uniform fittings for marching season and concert season. They coordinate sending/receiving uniforms to cleaners once per season, and assist in the maintenance and purchase of new uniforms as needed.
The Ways & Means Committee coordinates our fundraising initiatives that include encouraging corporate sponsorship and the use of Kroger Rewards and Amazon Smile. Current fundraising events include restaurant spirit nights and plant sales.
The Hospitality Committee organizes and supports the provision of food and drinks for band and orchestra students for events at school and offsite, including pre-football game dinners and Band Camp.
The Musical Showcase Committee prepares the campus for these visitors, greets them, provides some hospitality for the judges as well as concessions for performers in the early part of the day, and then presents awards at Kings Dominion in the evening.
Volunteer Committee works with all committees to staff events at Tucker and chaperone offsite trips.
We also need volunteers to help with equipment and tow our trailer to away games and competitions.
